After one day of lobo (1st May - Labour Day) at home, I have started my first day with my new company. It is a friday but the company does not allow dress down on fridays. I think I am going to have a hard time (cos I am a super lazy girl, always in slippers.. haha).
Wearing shirts, pants and in heels, I headed to work. Arrange to meet BY at 8.30 for breakfast. Beep Beep. A "will be late" message was send to me. Haha. Think BY need more time to dress up. By the time I reached office, I was already sweating profusely. The back of my shirt is already soaked through (SG weather has been so hot for the past few days).
Orientation start promptly at 9.00 am. There was about 30 ppl in the orientation group. A pretty big group. We were briefed on the vision and mission, benefits, culture and values of the company. Quite an interesting orientation. There will be another orientation on Monday before I officially start work on Tuesday.
Pray hard I will be able to fit nicely into the company and be able to perform the work I am employed for.

Goat cheese preserved in olive oil costs a fortune in gourmet specialty shops, but it's really very easy to make. To make a gravy, pour off 3 tablespoons of drippings, add 1 tablespoon flour and heat. A Bed and Breakfast in France
