My Last Day - Farewell

30, 29, 28, ..., 20, ..., 10, ..., 3, 2, 1. The "day" has arrived. Today is my last day with Prudential. Really sad that I am leaving. Gotta miss all the nice nice colleagues, breakfast every morning and the tea-break sessions. Really grateful for all who has help and support me along the way.

Also like to thanks the colleagues who have treated me breakfast and lunch - Ching Yen, JC, Lela, Pin Teng, Azizah, Hari, Huay Yaw, Poh Reng, Shailja, Kok Kien, Hartono, Wai Ting and Veny, Sandra, Bing Hong, Jac, Tracy, Soon Dee and Claudia.

Now, my pants feels tighter. Gosh, I think I have put on weight!! Face is rounder, legs and arms getting thicker and tummy becoming more protruding. Time to lose weight again. Sighs, life is so hard.

Friday Shopping Spree

Arrange to meet up with my shopping kaki to do shopping at chinatown and orchard. She wanted to buy belts as her current ones are getting old. So we decided to meet at chinatown at 6:40pm first before heading down to orchard.

We headed straight to level 3. But to our surprise, the belt shop had closed down. Thus, we decided to look around before going to our next destination. A pretty shop caught our eyes and we decide to go in to take a look. Guess what, we came out of the shop with 2 dresses each!!










Feeling satisfied, we moved on to orchard - Far East Plaza in search of belts. Wah! "$5 for a belt. Buy 2 get 1 Free". How can we miss such a good offer. We spent almost half an hour in the shop and bought 3 belts each.

Total damage done - Less than SGD 40.

Dinner @ Din Tai Feng

Yesterday was Vainpot b'day. Who is vainpot? He is a 32 year old man trying to pass off as someone in his 20s. Cannot tahan. Seeing that his friend treated him 'Cai Fan' as a birthday lunch (so ke lian), BY and me decide to give him a good treat. We went to 'Din Tai Feng' at Paragon for dinner. We ordered stir-fried dou miao, prawn fried rice, prawn dumpling la mian, pork dumpling and yam paste dumpling. All dishes are great, except for la mian which I find it rather normal. My favorite is of course the yam paste dumpling. Super duper nice!

Finally.. Cheekades is alive...

After twelve days of waiting, I can BLOG again. Why do I have to wait for twelve days before I can blog? This is a long long story. Care to know more? Read on...

My blog site was spammed the 2nd day I created it. I am not allowed to edit/post any stuff on my blog. I was so upset. What did I put in my bog that cause it to be spam? Anyone has any idea what does a spam blog means? Here is what is means - "Spam blogs can be recognized by their irrelevant, repetitive, or nonsensical text, along with a large number of links, usually all pointing to a single site."

So the next question will be "Am I guilty of it?". Of cos not. I am innocent. But I do know why it was classify as spammed previously. Read the comments to my very first blog and you will find out.

Thanks to all who were concerned why my blog was spammed. No worries, it is not because I have "illegal" stuffs on my blog. Now that it is enabled, I will continue to blog and will update more in my next post.

1st April 2008

1st of April is a very special day for me. Not because it is April's Fool Day but it is the day I create my blog. Wahaha.. After reading my friend's blog for some time, I finally decide to create my very own blog - Cheekades. Dun ask me what it mean.. This is a 不能说的秘密.

Today is also the first day of serving my one month notice period. Ya, I have tender my resignation after working for 3 years and 8 months in the company. Many reasons why I am leaving my current company. Kinda of sad that I have go. Gotta miss colleagues who are staying. From 1st of May 2008, I will cease to be the "xiao mei" because I will no longer be the youngest in my new company.
